Benzofury

Benzofury was a brand name for one of a range of drugs with amphetamine or ecstasy like effects such as 5-APB and 6 APB. They were sold from headshops and websites as ‘legal Highs’ until the ‘Benzofuran Compounds’ as this family of drugs are known, was controlled under the Misuse of Drugs Act as Class B drugs. They have very rarely been seen as street drugs in the last decade.
