Desoxypipradrol

desoxypipradrol

Desoxypipradrol (2-DPMP) was developed in the 1950s for the treatment of narcolepsy and ADHD, but this was discontinued due to the development of more effective drugs. It was sold in the 2010’s as a ‘legal high’ stimulant drug under names such as ‘Ivory Wave’ and ‘Vanilla Sky’. It was first brought under the Misuse of Drugs Act as a Class B drug in the UK and later under Chinese drugs legislation (Where most ‘legal high’ drugs were made). It has rarely been seen in the UK in the last decade.
