Methadrine

In 1940 ‘methamphetamine’ was marketed under the trade name ‘Methedrine’. During the 1960s the injection of methedrine ampoules became popular in a drug scene based around Soho in London. Pharmacists voluntarily withdraw Methedrine in November 1968.
