Some street drugs come in tablet form, while others are produced as medicines and misused. Usually, tablets are swallowed but are sometimes crushed and snorted or crushed dissolved in water then injected. Injecting tablets designed to be swallowed can cause blockages to veins or tissue damage as they contain substances other than the drug.
